We invite you to join us for the 2020 Annual NPUAP Conference - Sharpening Our View on Pressure Injury at the Westin Houston Galleria in Houston, TX on February 27-28, 2020. The NPUAP Planning Committee have recruited some of the best speakers from the industry. 

 

Target Audience:

Any student or professional working in the field of pressure injuries.

 

Overall Learning Objectives:

o   Compare and contrast new evidence in pressure injury prevention

o   Explore the concepts of skin integrity impairment and avoidability of pressure injury

Track 1 Objectives:

o   Examine significant changes to the 2019 guideline on prevention and treatment of pressure injury

o   Describe methods to implement the guideline in various settings

Track 2 Objectives: 

o   Analyze the concept of skin failure

o   Examine the concept of avoidable and unavoidable pressure injury, especially in the very high-risk patient
